Me-N-Eds Pizzeria in Bakersfield

Pizza is always great. We also love their drinks on tap. We get to try different drinks pouring as much as we want. The atmosphere is laid back, music videos playingon the tvs. Our kids often go play the quarter machines and claw machine. The staff is always friendly too!

This place was an interesting experience. The only reason why I gave them one star is because the music choice was fine but their service was a joke. I had to ask where my pizza went because they completely forgot about me. It seems like a majority of their employees are fresh to the labor industry, being their first job ever. And you can definitely tell. The woman was holding a pizza and coming up to every table asking them what they ordered completely disregarding the number set on their table. Understand everyone gets their first job, but can't they have at least one person with some sort of experience?

Beer prices are high but everything else is great! Lots of seating and great food.

Love the Buena Vista location. (Some girls on staff chatter with each other too long when they should be working)... But great food... Good people... We go back almost weekly.

The potato wedges are some of the best in town.

Me n Ed's is our family"s favorite pizza! There are other good pizza places in town but we love the consistency of anything on the menu! Always love the music videos & sports too :)

It looks like it's a family friendly restaurant... it has a great location, great atmosphere when you enter, delicious menu items(at a reasonable price), giant TV's everywhere and still not too noisy and service is great... BUT the bar and alcohol corner made me think of a "want-to-be" sports bar. *Not a fan of drunks watching sports.

The pizza is one of the better pizza's in town. They have a large menu beyond just pizza. Family orientated environment with reasonable pricing.

We just moved into the neighborhood. Food and staff were exceptional!! Pizza was some of the best we’ve had in a long while!! Definitely will be returning to try more!! Thanku for the great experience and food!!

Great food and very friendly service and alot of TV's to watch games or Harry Potter movie nights

I never been to a Me-n-Ed's before. This was my first time. I attended a party hosted in the party room. The host of the party selected a variety of pizzas. Which I enjoyed. The Canadian bacon had a smoky type flavor it was very good. The meats did not seem dry out and the sauce was not overpowering. I do not drink beer. However they have multiple taps of various beers available. The games always break down. They are claw games Nothing much to occupy children.

Great cracker crust. This location has a great selection of local beers on tap. They also have an expanded menu that goes beyond pizza. Great atmosphere and food. Very consistent food quality... Always tasty!

Great pizza and prompt service. Nice interior with several big screen TV's, family friendly. You can also call-in an order to pick-up or just order a pizza to go & wait at the bar while drinking from a large selection of beers or wine.

Mediocre pizza at best. We ordered two different pies and both were ok. Potato wedges and garlic cheese bread were good. We really wanted it to be good but it's just average to say the least.

Always love their pizza.. enjoyed eating here.. not crowded and was entertained with the music videos. .

2020.04.25 visitI visited for a pizza pick up. What I found to be disconcerting was that around 10 workers were shoulder to shoulder (clearly not social distancing, which I can see why that would be difficult in a small space) but furthermore neither wearing gloves nor masks while working. They were talking and joking with each other while working. And I would think any reasonable person would see this as a possible issue in current climate with the pandemic. I certainly understand that young folks working in close proximity would want to engage in some banter while they work. However this is strange times. I believe a better course of action is for the management to have the workers to at least wear PPE (personal protection equipment) to protect each from others as well as to protect the consumers' food they are preparing. I found this to be an irresponsible business practice.

Good food, great beer and a cool set up with TVs 360 viewable from all over

This is a great place to stop in for lunch. They have lunch specials and the staff are always friendly. The pizza is delicious and I've never had a problem at this location.

Ordered 3 wedges, got ZERO ranches, dude never told me when I ordered that ranch does not come with wedges, you have to pay .93 each, kinda sad right now.

My wife and I missed the old Marketplace's Me N' Ed's and we went there a lot. We tried a few other locations only to be disappointed, but this one finally opened recently and we just tried it last week. This is the location the Marketplace Me N' Ed's moved too. It's the Ed's we remember, just bigger now! Great experience, I would recommend!

I met some friends here for some pizza and really had a great time! The pizza was wonderful I would say some of the best pizza in town hands down. They had multiple TVs playing sports which I really enjoyed. The restaurant was very clean and the staff was very helpful.

Pretty good pizza for the area. Salad bar is small and limited. The process for getting a single beer while you wait for your pizza is way to much hassle.

Here's my thing, I want to love this place. But multiple times I've been here, I have had nothing but problems. They use to have a person who serviced the tap bar, think of it like the beer concierge, that person is not there anymore. Do you like IPAs? I'd hope so, since that is the majority of the beers, a few stouts, or ales. But the times I've been there some of those were out. I've gone in to order a take out pizza, drink a glass or two then take my pizza, to find my pizza delayed, or sitting on the oven with no announcement. It is frustrating, this is the kind of place I want, but the service is so mediocre I feel I'm just tossing dice when I go in. It's almost not worth it. Like I said very frustrating.

Clean and fast.

I've always liked Me-n-Ed's pizza. Friday was the first time I had been at this location. I had the Hot Hawaiian, which was a pleasant surprise. I've never heard of putting Alfredo sauce on a Hawaiian pizza, but it was great! I added mushrooms to mine and it made it even better. Highly recommend!

Awesome service and beer selection!

We love this place. We live on the opposite side of town, but make the 30 minute trek just to go to this location. Staff is always helpful, and the pizza is always solid. The only mark I’d ding on this place is we wish there were more booths as we have little kids that can’t sit at the pub chairs, safely.

We ordered pick up on that fearful night of Halloween. We asked for pick up at 6pm, ordered at 4. Smart, right? Got there to pick it up. Walked in and it was packed with people who must have had the similar idea. I paid for the meal and was told ten minutes. Thirty minutes goes by and nothing, I check in with them. Come to find out they never made our pizza. Now you are probably wondering why I'm giving them four stars. The second they realized there was a mistake; they were on it like sauce on crust, pun intended. Mistakes happen, it's how you handle the situation after the fact that counts. The manager and his team was determined to make it right. I can only imagine this is what it is like for Jay-Z when he orders any kind of food or anything, being priority is nice. Good food, great beer selection, nice environment... What's not to like. 🖖😎
